Great house and a wonderful vacation!

This house was a great layout with all the right things to make a wonderful last minute vacation to the beach. The management staff was easy to work with and provided a great stay! The house is so close to beach access and almost couldn't be any closer. It's very near Seaside and all kind of places to eat and shop within a short walk or bike ride. I would definitely look for this house again and use Royal Destinations.

The White House is a charming home in a near perfect location. When we arrived the first thing we noticed is that the screened in porch is in need of paint. In addition, the pool area needs a good pressure wash. So much for the negatives, on the positive side the interior is bright and airy. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. Location is perfect. Walking distance to Seagrove Market and Seaside. The fenced in front and back yards were a great plus for our two dogs. The management team was very responsive to a couple of small issues we had.

The house and location were great! The showers had alot of mildew and the master shower handheld needs work. The furniture slipcovers could use some cleaning. Besides that we enjoyed our stay very much.

We enjoyed this house a lot for a few nights. If we had been here longer it might had been tricky as two if the bedrooms have no closet and one has no dresser. The master bedroom is awesome and the location of the house is awesome I would stay again but not for a week. Also the trees I. The back need to be trimmed as the pool collects leaves constantly

My family & I totally enjoyed our stay at the White House. It was very comfortable & accommodating for our family of ten. We thoroughly made good use of the front porch playing games & loved having the fireplace on. The location was so close to the beach & made the trek there so much easier with a toddler & baby. We will definitely love staying here again. The only complaint was the daybed sheets had not been changed & there was sand on it. The staff came & took care of that after we informed them.

We enjoyed the soothing decor and comfortable furniture and beds. The laundry room was a great plus. Although I am a seasoned VRBO traveler, the photos were somewhat misleading. Furniture and arrangement changed (no big deal) but the rooms looked significantly more spacious than they actually are. Great photography! The pool for example, is barely larger than a jacuzzi. Despite the dirty condition we found the house, we enjoyed it and would rent again. The location is ideal if you like quick access to beach and enjoy busy 30a outside your door. The management company was wonderful and very responsive. They did have the house re-cleaned after we mentioned the condition. The beach is spectacular, and the umbrella and chair set up (included) were a highlight. The bikes were also plentiful and in great shape. Overall, a fabulous stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Fist year vacationing with a dog, and The White House was perfect as far as pet needs. Our cockapoo loved the fenced yard and screened porch. Proximity to Seaside and beach access was also very convenient. Hickory Street beach access directly across the street from the house. The house was adequately stocked with everything needed, and the decor, while slightly worn, was nice and comfortable. The master bedroom with ensuite bath, and upper deck provided nice views, but steep stairs may need to be considered. Nice closet storage in master bedroom only. Other bedrooms had drawer storage only. Our only complaint with the house was the backyard. It definitely needed some TLC. I think we would have used the area if it were as immaculate as the front yard. Overall, I would recommend this house, and we will most likely be booking again in the future due to lack of nice, pet-friendly homes in Seaside.

We really loved the location of this house and the view from the second floor bedroom was great! However, the house needs some TLC!!! The furniture is extremely worn and the cushions, throw pillows and bedding are very stained. This makes it very hard to feel comfortable and want to even sit down on the couches. The bathrooms have mold in the grout and the tile floors are stained and the walls could you use fresh paint. I felt like I had to clean the house before we even could get situated. The outdoor screened porch needs fresh paint and new furniture. There were ashes and burn marks on the table. It was like no one even cleaned the place to get it ready for new renters. Once again, the furniture is in very poor condition. The backyard with a very small pool needs TLC too. It looks like no one is trying to even keep up with the landscape and clean the pool. There were leaves every where on the pool deck and in the pool and everything just looked dirty. We didn't even want to use the area because it was so uninviting and dirty. The pictures they have on their website must have been from day one after their renovation. It is very staged. Makes me sad! I would like to be able to recommend this house to friends and I would like to be able to stay again someday because of the location but the house really needs some work. If the rental company and owners could see to cleaning the place up then it would be perfect and it would be a fantastic place to stay.

The White House holds on to many characteristics of it's original foundation, but was recently remodeled with the intention of providing a comfortable and romantic getaway while still preserving the experience of beach vacation. The White House sits within seconds away from the nearest beach access and the home provides multiple picturesque views of the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. During this off season we will be taking the time to address some of your concerns, such as steam cleaning the furniture and replacing some of the furnishings throughout the house. Beautiful Home Close to the Beach

Overall we had a great experience in The White House. The common areas were spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. The porches and outside seating areas were wonderful. The upstairs master suite was also fabulous. We traveled with my retired parents and my brother and his wife. We didn't have kids with us. I would say that this is better configured for families traveling with children. The bedroom setup was great for the couple staying the master but not as comfortable for the other couples. I would still stay there again, especially if kids joined. One other comment is that the beach access is right across the street which was fabulous. The rental came with beach service for two chairs and an umbrella. One word of caution that the beach service vendors are restricted to a very small area of the public beach access and the beach chairs were six or seven rows deep from the beach. We ended up switching beach service companies to get closer to the beach. One last challenge is that in the age of automated lock access for most rental units, it actually was kind of painful to pick up and drop off keys at the rental office. Given the price, I think it would be awesome if Royal Destinations put a lock box onsite so it's easier to get in and out, especially since driving on 30A is super stressful after an 8 hour drive. Not a dealbreaker, but there's definitely room to add value there.

The White House was a delight, it was perfect for our family. Roomy throughout. The kitchen was small but, the island was big and the laundry room which was beside it had a long counter that definitely came in handy as our pantry. Loved the long soft couches but, they are in need of a cleaning. I was pleased that the house has three air conditioning units. One for the upstairs master bedroom, one for the main floor and another for the HUGE bedroom with the queen and twin bunks that lead to the pool area. The 7x11 ft, pool was perfect for the children as well as a place adults could relax in. It was in need of a good cleaning though. Lots of leaves fall from the trees and there was sand ...a lot of sand. We took care to fully use the outdoor showers before dipping in from the beach. Others should do the same! One in front and one in the back. No excuse for that much sand in the pool. The screened in front porch was great. Comfy furniture and a picnic table. But, my favorite was the sitting area in front of the house. Lots of relaxing there to watch people walking, running, and bicycles (lots of bicycles). We’d wave and lots would say hello to us....loved this!! Since we were there during the Fourth of July....their annual parade went right by the house.The beach access was right across from the house and the beach and ocean was wonderful during our stay. The fenced in yard was a big plus because we were able to bring our two little dogs with us..LOVED this house. Many precious memories were made here.

Fantastic family experience! 4 bedrooms/baths gave each family some privacy. Large common room made family meals easy. We played board games at night on the front porch. 4 parking places were welcome and needed. With the beach 20 yards or so away it was easy bringing toys for the grandkids. We could easily come and go several times a day. Close enough to Seaside to walk, but far enough away to not be crowded. The grandkids (5, 3 and 1) made constant use of the pool. For our group this was a perfect get away.

Beautiful house, great location.

This was our first family beach vacation. The house was perfect for 8 adults and a toddler. The location was great, just steps away from beach access and a short walk to the center of town. We enjoyed the bikes, dipping pool and many outside sitting areas. We did have a problem with the air conditioning in one bedroom, however we called Royal Destinations on a Saturday and someone was there to fix the problem within the hour. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location for beach and Seaside. My family loved the front porch in afternoon. The pool is more of a dipping pool, the photos can be a little deceiving, if I had known wouldn’t paid $$ to have heated. The bunkroom bathroom is very small more less a large tub stuck in a closet, again photos very deceiving. Overall very nice clean rental.

Although the private pool is petite, the owners have decided to add more lounge chairs in the backyard for maximum sunning and grilling. There are 3 full bathrooms with showers on the 1st floor; the owners intention with the tub in the bunkroom was to provide guests with a bathtub for small children. This house was beautiful and the location couldn't be better. A couple of things would have been nice upon arrival, such as dish soap, a few extra rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Also, a large non-stick skillet is needed (the current one is very small and needs replacing). Otherwise, the property was wonderful for our 4 adults and 4 kids. We'll definitely be back!

All of the homes managed by Royal Destinations do receive a "starter set" of toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, trash bags as well as Aveda amenities in each bathroom. This is to help our guests get settled immediately and then they can purchase what they need per their own family and vacation needs beyond that. I hope the starter set gave you some benefit at beginning your trip and got you through until you were able to go grocery shopping. We will most certainly replace the skillet and add in a larger one as well. Again we appreciate you very much and so thankful you came to stay with us!

We had an amazing vacation at The White House! We had two families with children in the house and the accommodations were great for us. The bunk room off the main living area was nice to keep an eye on the little ones and the big kids spent lots of time in the dipping pool. The location to the beach and to restaurants and food in Seaside is a very short walk. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay at The White House again!

We are always happy to accommodate guests with a roller bed from our concierge service (as we did for your lovely gals), if needed or desired. There is something within a stones throw for everyone: beach access directly across the street, backyard pool to lounge in, 4 bikes to explore the area, and approx. 3 short blocks to Seaside for dining and shopping!

This rental was just as beautiful in person as shown in the pictures. The location was great. Just across the street from beach access. Very convenient to beach, Seaside stores, grocery store, and restaurants. We only had a couple of VERY minor issues, but everyone was so nice and accommodating. Would love to come back again, and highly recommend to others.

The home was gorgeous, located just far enough away from all the busyness of Seaside! Literally across the street from beach! The beach rental co. that property mngt uses is worst in area! We had problem with pool a few days but they fixed it, ice didn't work in refrig. There are no closets in 3 downstairs bedrooms & 1 room no chest!! Screen porch was fabulous!!

We had a great stay during our Seaside vacation and plan on staying in this home again! It is located in an ideal location: across from beach, few blocks to seaside and very close to the grocery store. The White House was the quintessential beach house. We loved the screen porch and large bunk room. Only negative, the house was stalked with zero condiments (no salt, no pepper, bare necessities we had to purchase)
