It’s that time of the year again. Time to gather with family and friends to eat, drink, and give thanks for the year that has passed. Plan your festivities this year along Florida’s Emerald Coast for a holiday you’ll never forget. From Thanksgiving dinner to local events, we’ve compiled all of our favorite things to do along 30A this time of the year.

If you prefer to spend Thanksgiving in the comfort of your vacation home but want to skip the hours of meal preparation, you’re in luck! Many of our favorite local restaurants are offering catering services and take away meals this Thanksgiving.

The Hub 30A offers a la carte options as well as a traditional dinner package, feeding up to 10 people.

Another great spot is Cowgirl Kitchen, which is offering take away meals available for pickup at three 30A locations, including Seagrove Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Blue Mountain Beach.

Café Thirty-A is offering dine in and take away meal options! The take away dinner feeds 6 people and includes three courses and sides.

Cuvee 30A is also offering dine in and take away meals. Whether you want to order your entire Thanksgiving meal or simply need a turkey, Cuvee 30A is available to help! (They also offer a pork loin for the non-turkey fans.)

Dine Out this Thanksgiving

Are you looking for someone to handle the preparations, cooking, and cleaning? You’ve come to the right place! There are several restaurants along 30A offering buffet and a la carte Thanksgiving meals.

Cuvee 30A is hosting its 23rd annual Thanksgiving Day Buffet from 11 - 2:30 p.m. featuring Chef Tim Creehan’s famous Louisiana Fried Turkey. Café Thirty-A is serving up a four-course dinner from 12 - 4 p.m. with your choice of Southern deep-fried turkey, tandoori marinated salmon, red snapper, or filet mignon for the main dish.

Havana Beach Bar & Grill at The Pearl Hotel is a great spot for those wanting a special twist on the classic Thanksgiving fare. While you can still get your fix of turkey and stuffing, you’ll also find menu items like paella and yuca frita. Havana Beach Bar & Grill will be offering a buffet-style meal from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. and a Prix Fixe menu from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

WaterColor Lake House is hosting a buffet-style Thanksgiving brunch from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m, offering a variety of Thanksgiving classics.

30A Thanksgiving Events

Traditionally, Thanksgiving is a day of eating. Thankfully, there are several opportunities to get a good workout in before and after all the indulging!

The 30A 10K and Annual Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run are both held on 30A Thanksgiving morning. The 30A 10K event also features a 5K and 1-mile race.

The 2019 Grayton Beach Kous Kouri 8 & 4-miler takes place on Saturday, November 30 through Grayton Beach State Park.

Other events this time of the year include Santa & S’mores on Wednesday, November 27 and Old Florida Holiday & Winter Market on Saturday, November 30. These holiday events are perfect for getting into the holiday spirit during your Thanksgiving stay on 30A.

Thanksgiving Volunteer Work on 30A

Thanksgiving is a great time of the year to give back, and there are several ways to serve the Walton County community during the holiday season. Crop Drop, Food for Thought, Hope Panhandle, and the 2019 Peanut Butter Challenge offer opportunities to help the local community by dropping off canned goods or volunteering your time to any of these local charities and organizations.
