If you come to this area to enjoy the beeches, then you should rethink your choice. New rules restricting access make the beech experience untenable. Avoid Seacrest at all costs. The house itself needed a deep clean due to poor drainage, but was acceptable. The personal pool made the stay. The staff of Royal Destinations was very responsive and helpful. But, once again the beech limitations are ridiculous and we would not recommend this area of 30A (after 25 years of vacationing in the area) to any family.
We really enjoyed our second stay at Pool's Paradise. We enjoyed the pool at the house even more than last year and loved the great addition of the patio couch/furniture & umbrella. It was so nice. One of the porch lights was burned out, however, and we should have called about it but didn't until later in the week when our gas grill ran out of propane. The guy that came was so nice, brought our gas and fixed the light bulb too. The ice maker dispenser on the door of the refrigerator didn't work from the time we got there. We should have called about it but didn't. It got a little exciting on the 4th of July when the power was out for a couple of hours. Then on Friday night, July 5th, when we were trying to get a good night's rest, the power went on and off about five or six times. We know this cannot be helped and we were to happy on the 4th that the lights went ON!! The community pool was super crowded. This is our third year here and the pool was as busy as ever. Too busy really. Everyone was nice though and we appreciate the attention of the life guards who did a great job. We loved riding our bikes and loved the shops and locals. One night we went down a few blocks to a full size band who played in the park area and everyone loved it. We really love this area and will definitely come back again. We went to church on Sunday several miles away and enjoyed Grayson Beach (?) along with Helen Beach (?) with the paddle boards and kayaks. I don't know what we would change about it. We love 30A! Hope to rebook with an even larger discount for next year!! Also, we had massages, and even got in a few hours early on Saturday arrival. We would definitely return and will recommend to our friends. Thanks for everything.
This house is perfectly located for those who want easy access to the beach without beach front prices. The beach is a an easy 1/4 mile walk or take the free tram ride with all your stuff. The home is spacious with a great layout for families, and is well equipped, especially in the kitchen. The option to heat the pool worked out great for our family as the neighborhood pool was too cold for our little ones. The only thing we recommend to the homeowners/management company is to purchase a new grill. The current one does not work properly and given how nice everything else is, we thought this stood out as something that didn’t match the quality of everything else. Every person we dealt with at Royal was courteous, responsive, and helpful and honestly the best rental experience we ever had. Highly recommend Pool Paradise.
Thank you Lilly Family! We loved having you here for the week. May is such a wonderful time to enjoy this area and specifically our beautiful beaches. With everything just a few steps from the front porch, we love the option to walk to grab coffee and donuts from Seacrest village. We really appreciate your kind words about the interior and new updates, we look forward to having you back again in the future. Please let us know if we can help.
