Barefoot Daze is located in Water’s Edge, an upscale gated gulf-front community bordering Rosemary Beach on the gulf side of Scenic Highway 30A. With 5 bedrooms encompassing 3 levels, a private pool, and 1,100 square feet of balconies offering gulf views and breezes, this is the perfect vacation home for guests seeking an upscale beach retreat. This charming Florida home has many custom finishes including high ceilings, pine floors, and wainscoting. This home’s private pool can be heated for a fee, allowing enjoyment in any season. The covered rear porch area has a gas grill and outdoor table seating for 8. Just past the pool area, a palm tree-lined pedestrian path leads to the neighborhood’s private beach walkover just100 yards away. With only 26 home-sites and a security gate, Water’s Edge has almost no car traffic. By foot or by bike, the town centers of Seacrest Beach, Alys Beach, and Rosemary Beach are just a few minutes away.

Wonderful home in the perfect setting! Home had everything we could possibly want and more! We were steps to everything in Rosemary Beach and the beach was just a few steps away. Location couldn't have been better! The beach is private and very few people. Never had to fight for prime beach spot. Definitely will come back

Barefoot Daze has a great layout. We come to 30A every year with another family and have 5 kids ranging from 1 to 9. The layout with 3 floors gave everyone and both families enough space and room to come together for activities and alone time if needed. The pool is a nice refresher while the kids need a break from the beach which is just a quick 3 minute walk. Great private beach with chairs and umbrella. You are in the heart of everything and can walk anywhere you want from great dining to shopping to just a casual stroll.

We had a wonderful time at Barefoot Daze! The house was absolutely beautiful and so conveniently located! Our kids loved the pool and the quick access to the beach. We loved the short walk downtown and pretty much everything about Rosemary Beach! We put in a request for the pool to be heated. By the 3rd day it was cool so I reached out to the property manager and they were quick to respond and had the pool heated up again by the time we returned home from dinner. We can't wait to come back and would definitely stay at Barefoot Daze again!

The location was wonderful. However, the house should never be listed for 12 people. While there are enough spaces for 12 to sleep, the house was too cramped 6 adults and 5 children. The pool needs to be renovated; some cabinet doors were chipped; WiFi worked sporadically; the 3rd floor refrigerator never worked.

All appliances functioned well. The proximity to small town life in Seacrest Beach and Rosemary as well as the beach made this stay even better. The private beach access meant an uncrowded beach flanked by Rosemary and High Point crowds.

Great house!

This was a great house! The location is amazing! So easy to get to the beach and we could walk to restaurants and shops. The house doesn't come with much, you have to bring your own beach towel and rarely have I stayed at a place that didn't have a hair dryer but the house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was nice! There is a great back porch with plenty of seating. 7 of us stayed there and it was the perfect amount of space and an ideal restroom ratio! Everyone at Royal Destinations was kind and responsive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Again, the location can't be beat. We had a wonderful time!

We usually stay in Rosemary Beach, but decided to rent a house this year. Very close to the beach and having our own pool was such a plus. The beach was not crowded like Rosemary. Such a great spot!

Everything was absolutely perfect. House is so comfortable and close to the beach (no roads to cross). We plan on booking our trip to Rosemary AND this house every year! We stayed the second week of May and paid to have the pool heated but actually had them turn the heat off a couple days after because the pool was naturally already a comfortable temperature. Next time we won't have it heated. Love LOVE Barefoot Daze!

Spring Break for 10!

My family and I have been coming to 30A for years now. We typically stay in Seacrest Beach. This by far was our best Seacrest experience. I cannot say enough good about the location. We enjoy everything Seacrest has to offer, and there is no better central location to experience all of it. We also were able to walk to Rosemary and Alys Beach. With the additional of Pizza by the Sea in Seacrest, your cars can stay put all week if you wish. The house was also great. We were a party of 2 families, 4 adults, and 6 kids. The 3 - 12 year old girls took the third floor and it was perfect for them. We had a little concern about the first floor bedroom being private enough especially in the morning as people wake early or perhaps want to sleep in. It was never an issue. The outside area was great, plenty of seating and large picnic table where we ate most days. The pool is also perfect. The 6 kids were in in whenever we were not at the beach. We thought it looked small in some of the pictures, but all 10 of us were in multiple times, and while you can’t swim laps in its certainly big enough for having fun! And finally the beach. Not sure how long it took us to walk to the beach, but it’s not worth timing. It takes longer to get sunscreen on than it does to get there. The beach chairs are a great addition too. We in the past pack lunch on beach days and take it to the beach, and we still did that a couple times, but with the house being such a short walk you can easily come back for lunch and take a short break if you desire.In all the years we have been coming to Seacrest we have not stayed in the same house twice. I would 100% stay in this house again and again.

Great Location, Great House

We enjoyed our time at the Barefoot Daze. Unfortunately the week we went in August we had rain all day every day. Luckily, the house was a perfect place to play games and have enough room for the 13 of us to find a place to have our own space. Since we were cooped up in the house we were grateful to have a nice, well kept house to stay in. The porches were great to sit and watch the rain on. We loved having the pool available to use and we did, even in the rain. :) It was nice, clean, and well cared for. A spot for improvement would be the stove. We were not happy about the stove as it was difficult to use the burners since the heat numbers were rubbed off. Also, a new coffee pot and maybe some extra cookware and supplies would be helpful. Overall this was a fabulous location and lovely house. We would recommend it and stay here again!

Water's Edge is the Best Location on 30A!

What a great vacation! The location of this property is an easy walk or bike ride to Alys or a minute's walk to Rosemary Square. The beach is easy to access and not crowded at all. The private pool was great. The home's furnishings and decor were beautiful. There's pool security gate. The pool alarm did not seem to work, but that wasn't an issue for us.Only complaints: The stove and oven may need to be replaced. We had difficulty getting water to boil as some of the burners continually turned off and on. The oven took a very long time to heat. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious, but the layout makes it difficult for more than one person to cook. The coffee maker appeared to be missing a part and we could not make regular coffee. The Keurig worked fine. This property is a great value compared to other homes for rental in the area. We will definitely return!

Pleasant stay....for the most part.

Mostly good, house was recently remodeled. Decorated nicely and had a beachy feel. Hard to reach property management company when issues arose, had to call sever times in a row to get though when we had a cable and wate outage during our stay. Homes were close together so neighborhood lights were an issue in bedrooms, and there were only blinds no curtains to help with that. Pool was nice we had one issue with a pool company but it's being dealt with. All in all a great house for two families with kids, close to the beach and very well done.

Not as described- children had a blast, but mom was frustrated

The house was ok, but was "inspected" before we were allowed entry. Upon our arrival we discovered that carpet in one of the bedrooms was dirty- popcorn on the floor. The inspectors didn't notice the broken soap holder in the dishwasher or the several lights that were out. The description wasn't accurate- when asked about the items that came with the rental, we were told that 4 or the 85 units they represent didn't participate in the rental company's amenity program. Called about the chairs that were supposed to be on the beach and the call wasn't returned. Went to rent and the chair rental place said oh, you've had chairs since Saturday.... The tag falls off sometimes. So we enjoyed our chairs the owner secured for us and the rental company didn't tell us about since our rental wasn't in their amenity program.Bikes that were offered by the owners were in horrible shape. The bike rental mentioned in the description wasn't offered- again the amenity program.... As an owner I'd like to know that my property was as well represented as other homes even though I'd opted out of their amenity program. Good things- the movie rental program. The frisbee and two glasses given at check in. The people who greeted were kind and did a nice job of welcoming you to the area. Their managers didn't always respond. Overall, despite our frustrations with Royal Beach Rentals, the children had a blast and were unaware of our issues with Royal. Being a first time rental customer, I'm not sure we'd do that again- will go to our places or stay in hotels. I couldn't recommend Royal Beach Rentals since their descriptions were notAccurate.

The only negative thing I can say about Barefoot Daze is that the third floor is extremely hot. It is almost too hot to sleep there and getting dressed there is next to impossible. The a/c unit is obviously not big enough to handle the heat on the third floor. We were very uncomfortable all week. The house was great, otherwise. Having a private pool was an added bonus and the location to the beach was great. I was expecting for the price we paid to have toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags already provided - that was an unwelcome surprise. This was the first place we have ever rented that those items weren't standard.

We strive to provide all of our guests with an amazing experience and wish that we had been able to do that for you. We also let all of our renters know that we stock the accommodation with a starter supply of trash liners, toilet paper, bath soap and dishwasher soap until they have an opportunity to visit the nearest store. This information is listed in the Guest Rental Agreement that guests sign when booking the property. We try to list as much information in that agreement as possible so our guests are fully prepared with everything they need for their vacation. Great stay except for a few outdoor cleanliness issues.

One of the reasons we picked the property that we did was due to multiple reviews of how wonderful the grill was. However, when we went to use the grill, it was disgustingly dirty. It had food stuck to it and stank so horribly that we didn't think we could even clean it in the amount of time we had before dinner. Also, the pool had not been cleaned before we came, nor had the pool toys been put away. We found children's flip-flops and a few other personal items, so we wondered if the backyard had not been picked up. Other than that, our stay was wonderful and we really enjoyed the inside of the house!

Perfect trip! Barefoot Daze was awesome! Every detailed covered! Plenty of space for our 3 families. The pool, the gate on the back porch preventing the little ones from getting in the pool, the daily umbrella and chair rental, Disney Junior 's the little things when traveling with two 3 yr olds! Could not have asked for more. Royal Beach Rentals was awesome also. We had to call them once for a slow drain and they sent someone right over and took care of it. Everything about our trip was wonderful and we can't wait to go back!

Barefoot In the Rain

This was a great place to spend a vacation with my wife, daughter and her family, and my son and his family. Plenty of room for everyone and plenty of things to do. The bicycles were great and so were the sand toys and pool toys. Even though there were torrential rains, we managed to have a great time. The house is close to shops and the ocean--just a nice little walk. Only a mention that the rugs in all the rooms need cleaning--area and carpeting. We hope to come back again. A wonderful home graciously shared.

My family of 11 had a wonderful 4th of July in Barefoot Daze. The accommodations and location was perfect and we especially enjoyed the pool after our days at the beach. We also found out that Waters Edge next to Rosemary Beach is very family friendly. We have never vacationed any place other than Seaside and are very happy to know that other locations along 30-A are just as much fun.

Barefoot Daze Beach House Rental

Our experience was great. The location is perfect walking distance to Rosemary shop, etc. The house was layed out well with plenty of space. The pool was a big hit for the kids. Private access to the beach was perfect. No complaints here!!!

Great house, close to beach, fun pool!

This house is great - has plenty of room, nice layout, fun pool. The only downside were just a few housekeeping items - bikes that were provided were not usable, throw pillows on master bed need to be washed. Other than that, everything was great. We will stay again.

We loved our stay at Conch Out Cottage. The pool was especially wonderful. There were a few cockroaches throughout the house - this is our only complaint.
