Edge of the Sea is located in the exclusive Gulf-front Water's Edge community! This fabulous beach house boasts a private pool, Gulf views, and decks or porches off every bedroom. This home has a wonderful design to accommodate multiple families including (2) king suites with private bathrooms. The finishes in this home are beautiful including the hardwood floors, solid surface counter-tops and stainless appliances. Water's Edge is a beach-side neighborhood bordering Rosemary Beach and has a private deeded beach access. This great location is also directly across from The Villages of South Walton’s shops, boutiques, and entertainment and just 3 blocks from Alys Beach!

This rental was perfect for my family vacation. We loved the gated community and that it was walking distance to the shops. The private beach was also a bonus and we never had to worry about it being too crowded or getting there early to claim a spot. Such a relaxing vacation.

Great house great location

Wonderful week at this beautiful house! Awesome location, such a close walk to Rosemary and so many shops and food. Very quick and easy walk to the beach and so wonderful to have two chairs and an umbrella waiting for you. We were short hangers for a few closets and they were immediately delivered to us. Anytime I had a question it was very quickly addressed. Would love to return.

Perfect home for a family vacation!

I stayed here in September 2023 with a group of 7 adults and one infant. The house was absolutely perfect and SO close to the beach, which was especially convenient when toting around a baby. We really enjoyed the pool, which was larger than expected based on the photos, and the use of the bikes.

We had a great time at Edge of the Sea. Considering we had little people, it was great to be so close to the beach with our own pool AND have a beautiful view of the ocean! Our group appreciated having the alarms on the doors leading out to the pool, and the abundant amount of towels since we were in and out of the pool so often. I would highly recommend this home!

Great house close to the beach

Lovely house with nice big rooms, tons of towels, and space. Only a 3 min walk to the beach! The pool is bigger than most in the area and the only small negative was the area around the pool felt a little cramped compared to other places we have stayed. The royal destinations team was excellent! Checked in with us throughout our stay and was extremely receptive when any questions/issues arose. Would highly recommend this house to anyone !

Perfect home for our family vacation! We rented on this street before and will come back again--Great location with easy beach access and close proximity to restaurants & shops. Good house layout/arrangement. Very clean. Grandkids loved the bunkroom. Would definitely rent this home again!!!

Nice stay, but.....

Property was clean/great location! Rooms were spacious and perfect. A few drawbacks compared to properties that were $500-$700 more for the week (we had several friends staying on the property). There is no extra living space. Just one living room. Our fault for not noticing but it made for tight quarters when everyone was there. Pool was not as clean as it appeared in picture. We paid for heat and it didn’t work one day - they had to come fix it. TV wire was hanging from the wall and coming out of the wall. Not safe for small children but we didn’t have any so it was easy to avoid. Railing at top of stairs was loose. I honestly could get past all of this. The worst part, however, was the security guard hired by the HOA (not by Royal Destinations). Literally screamed at kids two hours into our stay. Attempted to kick our own kids off the property and I had to ensure some other kids were protected from him as he attempted to do the same. He Refused to show ID. Several families complained, as the pool chair company referenced that many families were asking who he was. This was not a one night thing. Did it three times. HOA and Royal destinations need to figure this out. We don’t pay this amount to be treated like this on vacation. He was wrong by telling us we had to have wrist bands on to be on property. We only needed them on the beach.

Great location, great for groups

We loved this house and this location! A group of 10 girls stayed here for a reunion trip and we could not have had a better time! The space was large enough for us. We had a chef come in one night to cook and all the supplies were available in the kitchen. We were able to walk all around Rosemary and Alys Beach. I would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful floor plan to accommodate 3 couples. Plenty of space, a short walk to the beach, views from the balcony. Would absolutely recommend and consider staying here again. The beds were comfy and even had hair dryers!!
