Forever Grateful was perfect for our group of 20 to vacation at Santa Rosa beach! The house was beautiful and clean and we loved being right on the beach and also the heated pool was a treat. My family had a wonderful Spring Break staying at Forever Grateful. The home is beautiful and in a great location. It’s beach front and close to restaurants and shopping. The home is perfect for entertaining. The kitchen has 2 of everything. 2 fridges, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers. It was completely stocked with all your cooking appliances and more. The home comfortably fits a large group. Having a pool and deck just off the water was amazing and views were to die for. We definitely be renting this home again! Best beach house for large groups!

We had the best time at Forever Grateful! The beach was large and beautiful. The house and guest house fit our party of 19 more than comfortably. 11 adults and 8 kids. The pool was a lot of fun and plenty big. It was really nice half shaded in the afternoon to get out of the sun. The kids loved it! We never did figure out the Sonos sound system out on the patio but we had our own Bluetooth speakers with us. The ice maker was amazing and the house came stocked with a bunch of beach towels, toys and some beach gear! The kayak was such a present surprise! Walking distance to all the shops was fun too! We would absolutely rent again!

Great Family Home

The Forever Grateful home is fabulous and was well suited for our family of including 7 adults and 11 kids ranging in age from 2 years to 16 years.The layout of the home and access to the beach was perfect for us. The kitchen is spacious and has 2 cooktops/ovens, 2 microwaves & 2 refrigerators. Also has plenty of countertop space. The coffee bar on the second floor was a nice convenience. All Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. We used the second floor balcony especially enjoying morning Keurig coffee there. The pool is nice sized and the kids liked the pool as a break from being on the beach. The screened in porch is large as are the decks. The 3 car garage is great and has a refrigerator. Six beach chairs & 3 umbrellas were included and is a nice touch.I gave a 4 star rating (rather than 5 stars) for several reasons. It was a minor inconvenience but we were not given access to to house until about 5:30 PM when check in time was 5:00 PM. Also, the slider which leads to the screened in porch from the kitchen was almost impossible for the ladies and kids to open. We contacted Royal Destinations about this and they immediately sent someone out but they could only lubricate the door which was not much help. Also, we noticed several large bugs in the house and also contacted Royal Destinations about this. An exterminator came out a few days later.All in all the house was ideal for our family and would not hesitate to book this property again.

This was our 3rd time renting Forever Grateful and we loved the updates! The kitchen is beautiful and the new decking and stairs to the beach were great! Minor items we noticed - not enough spoons and forks for us (20); the clothes dryer may need to have the vents blown out as it took forever to dry clothes; we had to buy batteries for the control to the living room fan and for 2 of the TV's. We will be back next year!!

Best Vacation House Ever from OBX to 30A

No matter what you do, you have to determine what level you want to compete on! Vacation Homes are no exceptions. "Forever Grateful" competes at the highest level. Let's start with great location on 30A. Then we can move to amazing ocean views and easy beach access. A large pool, partly covered, heated, overlooking the ocean that met the needs of 17 folks including 6 grandchildren! Carriage House with full kitchen that gave extra privacy for grandparents. We loved the multiple decks with ocean views and comfy chairs, also tables outside to host buffet dinners and watch the incredible sunsets. Umbrellas, chairs, bikes, extra beach chairs all included. High end beds, plenty of beach towels, kitchen well stocked with 3 frigs, and separate ice maker. Watch a little SEC sports with huge TV's and a sound system. Easy access to shopping, grocery, restaurants. A side yard with artificial grass for putting contest, games and fun that our kids loved. This home thought of everything!. Great place for families, family reunions, even events! Just being oceanfront was the best, no more loading and unloading "stuff", we started each day with three letters, WOW! Also, a tip of the hat to the Royal Destinations team, they were great to work with and always available for any need we had! We made Great Memories with our family and we too are "Forever Grateful"! Hope to see you again :)

We rented "Forever Grateful" for our daughter's small family wedding and couldn't have been more pleased! The house was perfect! Plenty of space, great kitchen, large rooms, beautifully decorated, gorgeous views, conveniently located to restaurants and shopping (you can walk)... everything you could hope for. Royal Destination was easy to work with from the start, very helpful. The check in process with the Royal Destination app was great also. If you're looking for the perfect wedding or vacation house, Forever Grateful is for you. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for our beach wedding

We rented Forever Grateful for our beach wedding. The check-in/check-out process was very smooth (we even got to check in a few hours early!) and communication with the rental company was excellent. The home comes with an app where you can find all necessary info. I couldn’t find a garage code, called RD, and got the problem solved in under 3 minutes. The home itself is very spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We had a short service on the sand and the premises fit our 75-person guest list very comfortably. The master bath is very large; we were able to fit 3 stylists & bridesmaids comfortably. The home comes with 6 bikes we enjoyed using around town. Within walking distance of Gulf Place shops. I highly recommend this home. Would love to come back

Overall pleased....there is a fundamental flaw of garage (there is no separate door in case power is out - garage doors won't open) and there were some for maintenance issues: rail at front steps was unattached from the base, water would not shut off in guest house, pool pump not running, There is quite of bit of mildew in the master bath shower but we did not want the cleaners to come back in to clean at the time. Great location with access to beaches, shops, and restaurants.

This June 2019 was e third time we have rented Forever Grateful for a week. We go every other year and bring our 4 kids, their spouses and our 10 grandkids. The home easily accommodates all of us, and we love being able to both look at the Gulf and walk out the door to it. The pool is a wonderful plus, especially for the grandkids. The Royal Destinations staff is attentive and quickly sends the right people to repair a faulty item.

Amazing house!!! Right on the beach with great access to shops, restaurants, live bands!! The house suited our large family just great with plenty of room to spare. Pool was so soothing while watching the sunset!! We lived the screened in porch.. used it a lot. We are forever grateful!!

It was great experience. The customer service was wonderful. Any issues we had they came and fixed it. There's a master suite on the first floor that was perfect for my elderly dad. The area was safe around for teenagers to take bikes around. The pool was the right size for little kids to swim. They put beach chairs for us everyday on the sand. Great time overall.

It’s such a beautiful home and we made such great memories there. We plan to go back every year at this home cause we all loved it. Had a small intimate wedding this past weekend and it was just perfect in every way. We couldn’t of picked a better house. The coffee bar upstairs is awesome. Loved making my coffee and walking out on balcony and enjoying the views. The pool was perfect and nice and cold to enjoy and watch everyone on the beach. The master bedroom and bathroom is unbelievable. I just can’t say enough great things about this home. We will be back. Thank you for such a memorable vacation.

House was beautiful. Pool alarm didn't get repaired while we were there. That was our major complaint. The house is definitely a gem & steps to the water. I want told about the public access to beach on the right side of property. That was a drawback for us....again the house & beach are beautiful.

This home easily accommodated, with room to spare, our extended family which includes 3 couples, 2 teens, 4 kiddos five years and younger, and a babysitter. It is right on the beach and across the street from restaurants and shopping. The property was clean and Royal Destinations was great to work with. They provided names of a company that rents beach chairs (although 1 set is provided and there are several chairs in the garage), a company to rent baby equipment, a company that grocery shopped for us some food the day we got there, and a chef for an excellent meal prepared at the house. The garage also has floats and toys. The teens stayed in the carriage house and it does not have wifi. Therefore, the adults got to see more of them during the week! Also, be aware that you need to bring hair dryers. I didn't notice they are not listed under amenities. Actually there may be 1 now that we bought and left it. I would definitely rent this again.

The property was better than described. Location is perfect with dining, shopping and entertainment right across the street at Gulf Place. Layout and rooms were comfortable while being high end. Nothing more could have been done to make our stay more enjoyable. We had a couple minor maintenance issues which were handled in a very timely manner. We have rented from several agencies in the South Walton area and have never experienced such personal attention. Best of all, we were called on our arrival day to say we could check in early! The house was wonderfully located right on the beach. You almost didn't need to rent chairs and umbrellas as you felt like you were right on the beach from the back deck area. The house is amazing! Clean, spacious, everything you need for a perfect stay. We had over 20 people staying there for a fantasy football draft long weekend and, since there's so much room and so much to do (beach, pool, lower deck, upper deck, side yard, shops/restaurants across the street) it never felt crowded. Plenty of fridges, bathrooms, space. Two couples didn't have little kids so the guesthouse was a perfect place for them to stay (sleep in later, take a break from kid mayhem). All around great experience. Can't wait to come back next year.

Perfect Family Vacation

This is the second year we've rented this property, and there are many reasons why we came back! Our group consisted of 3 generations of family & friends ranging in age from 3 to 65. The furnishings & the casual, classy atmosphere of the home is great! The location right on the beach is perfect. It's great to be steps away from a fresh drink & a bathroom. The expansion of the deck was perfect! We spent long mornings enjoying our coffee out there. We also loved the new outdoor shower and the changes to the screened in porch. With such a large group, the screened in porch was a second dining area for every meal.The kitchen is great! We gave both dishwashers and the oven a good workout! The 2nd fridge in the laundry room was fully utilized as well!The layout of the house is great with many private areas to sit and read or enjoy conversation with a smaller group. While the new morning kitchen upstairs is nice, we didn't utilize it much. The drawer-style fridges there were a nice touch. The management company was VERY responsive to our minor issues. The app was extremely helpful!The garage is very spacious & there is so much parking in the driveway!A couple of areas for improvement are: The beach service with only two chairs for such a large home is silly. At the very least, some folding chairs should be available in the garage as it's often hard to travel with chairs. While the master bedroom is spacious and luxurious, it has a sofa bed to sleep two more people. Because the connected master bathroom has no door, it's awkward (privacy-wise) to have 4 people in that room. It would be helpful to know what type of coffee filters to buy (not the cone type) & K-Cups ahead of time. We really struggled with not being able to recycle. As a big group, we generated many items to recycle and would have loved a way to not add to the landfill.

As far as amenities, we do offer a starter set of amenities designed to help supply you with at least some bare essentials for the first night of your stay without having to run out to purchase those immediately. Were always happy to arrange for a larger supply with advance notice. We also have a concierge partner who can help provide for that and even have your fridge stocked and ready! They can also assist with additional beach chair and umbrella orders. This home will have some incredible refinements during the off season that will be sure to amaze!

The property was outstanding. Royal Destinations, Judy and her team, is the best. Any and all questions answered promptly, before and during stay. Overall the home was everything as advertised. With over 20 years of renting condo's and homes in the Destin area during the summer, one of the top 5. The location was bitter sweet sometimes, great to be out of the crowds, traveling back into Destin for activities time consuming. The unattached cottage was great for the two Nanny's accompaning us. The beach chair rental service was excellent. Only two comments, more comfortable seating in the screened porch area adjacent to the pool and an elevator if the owners plan future renovations. Overall, we would highly recommend this property.

My family of 21 with grand kids from age 4 to 24 and our 5 adult kids and spouses experienced our second outstanding stay at Royal Flush. The house and guest house are magnificent. All furnishing are top notch. Plenty of kitchen stuff to feed 21. The sheets and towels are all good quality. Just an outstanding stay. Only a couple of negatives. The ice maker is too small and just doesn't have the capacity to support 21 drinkers. The other draw back is the amount of people you can seat for dinner. Having been there before, we brought our own fold up table and four folding chairs so we could seat all of us for dinner. We also used the 5 chairs from the guest house. Other than that, just and outstanding venue for a family gathering.One other thing. The customer service is outstanding. Have a problem, they are on top of it. Highly recommend this property.

Royal Flush - The Perfect Beach House!

We stayed here the week after school got out -Memorial Day Weekend 2015 and it was oh so fabulous! There were four different families that stayed in the house. With five children ages 2-9, two babysitters ages 16 & 17, two high school graduates, plus the eight adults... It's safe to say, we had a large group with lots of spacing needs, but the Royal Flush had all the "Royal" accommodations we needed.This house is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! And I've been coming to the Destin/30A area for 25 years! While beautiful, it is also incredibly functional as a regular house too...the kitchen has everything you need to make a fantastic meal, an outdoor shower to wash off things from the beach, a plush laundry room with a sink/refrigerator and nice three-car garage with extra beach chairs, canoe etc... But the the views were probably my favorite part about the house - the best I've seen of the gulf - simply breathtaking. My only complaint, and there was really only one - it was about the side yard. While we really enjoyed doing our daily workouts and the kids enjoyed playing in the yard, there were ants. An easy fix.The location was close to most everything we needed. The property management agency was easy to work with and very helpful. We can't wait to come back to beautiful Santa Rosa Beach!

Fabulous House!

This house was perfect for our vacation needs. We had 6 families, and no one felt cramped. The kitchen has every cooking utensil you could ask for, which is great for large groups who don't want to go out every night. The location is ideal, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The decor is beautiful, and the master suite is like a house in itself. You will not be disappointed in this place; the pictures do not do it justice. The only negative is that there are 7-1/2 baths, so two of the adult bedrooms have to share a bathroom. Luckily, we were able to work around this, and our vacation was absolutely perfect thanks to this wonderful vacation property.

We had a great time using this company and staying in this home. Royal Beach did a great job managing the home, was in touch with us regularly, and treated us well. The home was as expected. It was beautiful, nicely decorated and just what we needed for our special occasion. We held a small wedding on the beach that was beautiful! I could not have found a better wedding location than on that beautiful beach. I would rent that house again without a doubt. The pictures describe the home accurately. A poster previously mentioned the pool looks bigger in the images and I would agree with that, but really most people aren't spending too much time in the pool so it worked out fine for our purposes. We visited local restaurants that were wonderful and had the best time. We even saw dolphins several times and a small shark the last day from the screened patio!

The house was great and perfect for us with the exception of the HVAC. I am aware at the beach the AC is not going to cool down quickly but the house was never cool. Seems to me like the hvac is undersized for the house. Having said that we enjoyed our stay and would go back. The other issue is the management company makes you drive to their office to pick up a packet upon arrival. The house was great & the pictures don't do it justice. Only negatives were the TV in living room was malfunctioning (cable kept going out & only certain remotes worked) & the jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bathroom was no longer a jacuzzi tub (the button to turn jets on was gone). Beach vacation home NOT pool home

We had 10 adults and 7 kids. Property had an AMAZING beach. House was literally on the beach and it was stunning. However, the pictures of the pool that the website shows are very deceiving. Pool is TINY. It is also completely shaded and covered so you wont get any sun there. With that said, the beach was amazing and we spent our days on the beach. If you are a pool person, this home is not for you. The actual home was beautiful. Loved that it had all and any kitchen utensils and anything we didn't have, the rental company was VERY accommodating. However, home could use some renovations. Its looking a little bit "run down" from all the "traffic". Other than that, we had an amazing time and I would recommend this home to another family as long as they new the pool was so small.

Royal flush-- awesome vacation

We had a family reunion for my husband's 50th. We had a great time. There was plenty of space--even with 26 adults and teenagers. The beach was beautiful-- there is some erosion by a drainage outlet, but it is not a big deal. The house is on public access, but again-- not a big deal. There were lots of chairs in the garage, and we set up the chairs in the morning. The house was well equipped for cooking at home. We had come and do a sushi dinner. Great value and absolutely awesome sushi. That was the best decision we made. Have him come early in the week-- he is local and cangivebyou tips on beaches, activities, restaurants, etc. We did a group snorkel on a boat outside of destin-- do not recommend this. If you want to snorkel-- find a reef boat. All in all this was a great experience. We would love to come back sometime!

Our family of NINETEEN loved ROYAL FLUSH!

Every year our family spends a week together at the beach. There are nineteen of us, ten adults and nine grandchildren, ranging in ages from 12 years to 6 months. This house was the perfect house for our family. Our children with the youngest grandchildren stayed in the Carriage House, and that was perfect! It provided a quiet place for nap times! The rest of us were in the Main House and that worked out well, too. The only drawback was not having a game room or media room, which meant there was only one gathering place in the house. Of course, most of our time was spent in the pool or in the ocean, but when we were all together for dinner, we had a roomful! We loved the well-equipped kitchen, and the large dining table, since we eat most of our meals in. And we enjoyed having a screened porch. The sea grass came in while were we there and it was the worst I've ever seen in all of our years going to the beach, but that was out of anyone's control! All in all we had a fabulous week at ROYAL FLUSH! And your management company was first class! Thanks for a great vacation for our family!

Beware - the roof leaks!

We stayed at this property 4 nights in late August. It is in a nice location and appeared to be a nice home upon check in, but then the trouble began. The roof on this home needs some serious repair. The guest house roof leaked into one of the rooms about 2 feet from a sleeping baby's crib! Additionally, one of the rooms in the main house smelled like mildew, although we could never find the source of the leak. A piece of the roof gutter went flying off and came into the pool area where our children were playing during a typical FL rainstorm. For these issues, the property owner refunded us a measly $330 on a property that cost 5 times that a night! We requested a 2 hour extension on the checkout time. You would think after these issues they would have been more than willing since no one was checking in after us that day. The owner would not extend to us this late checkout and even had the property manager call us back to say if we weren't out by the check out time in the contract he would charge us another full day! Wow - the owners of this property are not nice people. My advice - you can find a less expensive, nicer home, with much nicer property owners if you book early in the season. We booked late and for that we had to pay a premium for a less than par home. Keep looking!

Royal Flush is a magnificent home but unfortunately this guest did experience some issues during their stay. Due to an increase in rain storms prior to their stay, unfortunately the roof did take a beating and started to leak in one of the guest house rooms during the guest stay. Our Maintenance crew worked quickly to resolve the issue and had the leak corrected within a few hours. We had offered to move the guest to another property for the remainder of their stay if they felt that another potential roof leak might impose on their stay but they declined. For the inconvenience we did credit the guest the $300 which is the rental rate for a night in the guest house. The guest stated that they were very happy with our service and many thanks for the credit for the inconvenience. Upon guest departure we could not allow for a late check out because we did in fact have a last minute reservation. The guest did not notify us of any other issues at the property or we would have addressed these issues immediately. We have had 4 staff members at the property after the guest departed and had no reports of a mildew smell nor did we find the rain gutter.

The accomdatione were very nice. Initial provisioning was very sparce. Would have been very helpful to have a map as to where the house and rental office was located. Rental company was very inflexible as to providing anything outside the contract.

this is about our 6th or 7th season at royal flush and we were very pleased this year as well. the rental office was accomodating and pleasant. several constructive comments include: water pressure in shower in upstairs hall bath is very weak;internet connection should be moved down stairs; pool should be heated when outside temperature drops below 85; rental price should consider the economy and demand at the beach; royal flush is becoming too costly in these times.

Fridge in Kitchen does not work properly, dishwasher leaks badly if you don't fix the rubber seal when you run it, a good deal of rust on the screened in patio, outdoor furniture not up to par for a house of this price, and when we checked in the lights in the Master Bathroom were not working (we had to find the breaker box to get lights on). We were charged an additional $250.00 to rent six beach chairs on the property, lost $500-$600 in food because of the fridge in kitchen and told we didn't close it properly (we tried but couldn't get it to seal). When we called about the fridge, the Property Manager accompanied the Maintenance Man to the house and went thru the house taking pictures of clothing, etc in the bedrooms, went thru our trash bags on the street, and told the guests in the house that an over 25 year old had to accompany them at all times in the house (the guests in the house at the time were all in the 19-24 age group and two of them were Military Men). She also told them that they had to leave the house immediately. The rental agency ruined the last two days of our stay. We have stayed on this beach in the past for less money and had a wonderful time with very helpful owners and agents. The house is in a good location but is very expensive and it took us an hour round trip from the house to the rental agency to check in and check out (there should be a lock box at the house to pick up and drop keys). We think when you pay this kind of price, everything should be in perfect condition, you should have access to all the amenities, and the property management should be helpful in every possible way. Last year our group stayed eight doors down from this property, payed several thousand dollars less, had a great property with the same beach front location, and had a wonderful all round experience.
