Every April, music lovers across the country celebrate Record Store Day — a global event dedicated to honoring independent record stores and the unique culture they bring to their communities. On Florida's Scenic Highway 30A, that celebration happens at one of the Gulf Coast's most beloved music destinations: Central Square Records in Seaside.

Tucked above Sundog Books on the second floor of 89 Central Square, Central Square Records has been a true local institution since 2003. As an official Record Store Day participating store, it carries hundreds of limited edition, exclusive and collectible vinyl releases available only at independent record stores — on a first-come, first-served basis — making Record Store Day one of the most anticipated events on the 30A calendar for music fans of all ages.
