I stayed here in September 2023 with a group of 7 adults and one infant. The house was absolutely perfect and SO close to the beach, which was especially convenient when toting around a baby. We really enjoyed the pool, which was larger than expected based on the photos, and the use of the bikes.

We had a great time at Edge of the Sea. Considering we had little people, it was great to be so close to the beach with our own pool AND have a beautiful view of the ocean! Our group appreciated having the alarms on the doors leading out to the pool, and the abundant amount of towels since we were in and out of the pool so often. I would highly recommend this home!

Great house close to the beach

Lovely house with nice big rooms, tons of towels, and space. Only a 3 min walk to the beach! The pool is bigger than most in the area and the only small negative was the area around the pool felt a little cramped compared to other places we have stayed. The royal destinations team was excellent! Checked in with us throughout our stay and was extremely receptive when any questions/issues arose. Would highly recommend this house to anyone !

Nice stay, but.....

Property was clean/great location! Rooms were spacious and perfect. A few drawbacks compared to properties that were $500-$700 more for the week (we had several friends staying on the property). There is no extra living space. Just one living room. Our fault for not noticing but it made for tight quarters when everyone was there. Pool was not as clean as it appeared in picture. We paid for heat and it didn’t work one day - they had to come fix it. TV wire was hanging from the wall and coming out of the wall. Not safe for small children but we didn’t have any so it was easy to avoid. Railing at top of stairs was loose. I honestly could get past all of this. The worst part, however, was the security guard hired by the HOA (not by Royal Destinations). Literally screamed at kids two hours into our stay. Attempted to kick our own kids off the property and I had to ensure some other kids were protected from him as he attempted to do the same. He Refused to show ID. Several families complained, as the pool chair company referenced that many families were asking who he was. This was not a one night thing. Did it three times. HOA and Royal destinations need to figure this out. We don’t pay this amount to be treated like this on vacation. He was wrong by telling us we had to have wrist bands on to be on property. We only needed them on the beach.

We love 124 Geoff Wilder Lane because it is within walking distance to the beach. This home also has a great view of the gulf and is a very short distance to local restaurants, shopping, and live events. We really hope to see you again.

Nice stay, but.....

Property was clean/great location! Rooms were spacious and perfect. A few drawbacks compared to properties that were $500-$700 more for the week (we had several friends staying on the property). There is no extra living space. Just one living room. Our fault for not noticing but it made for tight quarters when everyone was there. Pool was not as clean as it appeared in picture. We paid for heat and it didn’t work one day - they had to come fix it. TV wire was hanging from the wall and coming out of the wall. Not safe for small children but we didn’t have any so it was easy to avoid. Railing at top of stairs was loose. I honestly could get past all of this. The worst part, however, was the security guard hired by the HOA (not by Royal Destinations). Literally screamed at kids two hours into our stay. Attempted to kick our own kids off the property and I had to ensure some other kids were protected from him as he attempted to do the same. He Refused to show ID. Several families complained, as the pool chair company referenced that many families were asking who he was. This was not a one night thing. Did it three times. HOA and Royal destinations need to figure this out. We don’t pay this amount to be treated like this on vacation. He was wrong by telling us we had to have wrist bands on to be on property. We only needed them on the beach.

We love 124 Geoff Wilder Lane because it is within walking distance to the beach. This home also has a great view of the gulf and is a very short distance to local restaurants, shopping, and live events. We really hope to see you again.

Great location, great for groups

We loved this house and this location! A group of 10 girls stayed here for a reunion trip and we could not have had a better time! The space was large enough for us. We had a chef come in one night to cook and all the supplies were available in the kitchen. We were able to walk all around Rosemary and Alys Beach. I would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful floor plan to accommodate 3 couples. Plenty of space, a short walk to the beach, views from the balcony. Would absolutely recommend and consider staying here again. The beds were comfy and even had hair dryers!!
